Lacks ideal size for a college DE but more than makes up for it with speed, explosion and strength. Nearly a 400 pound bencher and runs sub 11 seconds in the 100 meters. Gets off the ball and uses hands very well. Had very productive junior season, recording 19 sacks.


Biography:
Nduka Onyeali was an all-state performer as a junior, recording 100+ tackles and 19 sacks. Onyeali says he can bench 435-pounds, squat 535 and has a 33-inch vertical jump.

Onyeali reports a 3.0 core GPA and is awaiting results of his Dec. 12 ACT.

Final senior (15-0) stats: 15 sacks

Onyeali: “I can pass rush really well. I also think I help my team with all my emotional energy. I’m also pretty strong and powerful.

“I want to work on my running. And improve on the run defense. I want to get better reads and read my keys better.”
