Wright, a southpaw, threw for 1,274 yards with eight TDs while rushing for another 727 yards and three scores his junior season, earning first team all-conference honors in '06.
Since December, Wright has been spending his off season at the Colorado QB Academy, working on his game for a couple hours a night two times a week.
Ralston Valley coach Matt Loyd: "He wants to win, he's competitive, he wants to do well but he's also going to do it in a way that's not boastful. He was our (leading) rusher last year but also threw for close to 1,300 yards...We have three or four guys who are going to run the ball, but he's going to be one of them. And he's got a very strong arm."
