Carzell Vickers, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound wide receiver from Valor Christian High in Colo., reports offers from Minnesota, Colorado, Colorado State, and San Diego State.
He is very excited about the opportunities that the good lord has blessed him with.
“It is nice, I love it,” Vickers said very humbly about the recruiting process. “God has given me talents and I used them, I guess, for good.”
Outside of the schools that have already offered there are two others that have been recruiting him vigorously.
“There are a couple,” Vickers responded when asked if there were some other schools on his list. “Boise State and Utah.”
He does not seem too close or zeroing in on an early decision.
“I am trying to take everything in right now.”
Vickers has a long and lean frame with some nice height. He says schools will likely be looking at him at outside receiver, but there is a chance that he could get looks on defense.
“I think definitely outside receiver and maybe even corner. I played corner in the last game for the first time and I did really well.”
Off the field and on he looks up to his brother.
“I look up to my older brother B.J. Vickers. He is just a great wide receiver, all-around. He has had many offers, so I call him when I need advice.”
