Earlier this month kicker Justin Castor of Arvada West High School received a first offer from the University of Wyoming and now it looks as if more offers may soon come his way.
Castor, a 6-4 180 pounder, used his strong leg to hit 36 touchbacks last season pinning teams deep for the Arvada West defense. Offensively, Castor scored 62 points for his 7-4 West squad including nine field goals. This upcoming season Castor will help out the offense as a starting wide receiver.
Castor's strong leg has recently drawn Big 12 North attention. According to Castor, Kansas University is showing interest and may offer in July. Also, Castor spent time this month at the University of Colorado and the Buffs look interested as well. Castor says Colorado special teams coach Kent Riddle said an offer may be coming soon.
This summer to improve his game, Castor has been working with kicking guru Paul Assad. With this increased practice, look for Castor to see more offers coming soon
