Last summer, while attending the University of Wyoming team camp with his Douglas County squad, junior Mike Moudy secured his first offer from the University of Wyoming staff. This past season's coaching change in Laramie did not change the Cowboy's interest in the 6-6 282 pound offensive lineman. As a junior, Moudy was able to garner All-League honors helping his team to nearly 2,500 rush yards, an 8-4 record and a playoff berth.
Moudy's head coach at Douglas County, Jeff Ketron, informed PrepColorado that along with the Wyoming offer, Moudy holds offers from Colorado State, Northwestern and Stanford. Running in the 5.0 range, benching over 300 pounds and possessing a frame that has the potential to add even more solid weight, Moudy should continue to get offers from D1 programs across the nation.
Moudy augments his skills on the field with very solid work in the classroom. The big tackle currently carries a 3.6 GPA in the classroom.
