6-7 255 pound defensive end Nick Kasa of Legacy High School in Broomfield, Colorado is attempting to put the final touches on his official visits. The itinerary is tough to set as the talented sack master has interest and offers from teams across the nation, including favorites in the far west and far east of the United States.
Currently, Kasa is looking at visiting the University of Oregon on the 20th of this month when the Ducks host Boise State. Kasa would later crank up his frequent flyer miles to travel to Gainesville to watch the big SEC game between Florida and LSU on October, 11th. Along with Florida and Oregon, Kasa will, at some point, travel to South Bend for a Notre Dame visit as well as head to Berkeley to watch Cal play.
According to Kasa's father, Colorado and Florida look to be the two current favorites of the five teams Nick is most interested in. This will make Colorado coach Dan Hawkins very happy. Last night, Hawkins was at the game as Kasa's team defeated Fort Collins in a tight ball game. Kasa's Legacy squad is sitting at 2-0 and looks to be one of the top teams in Colorado 5A football. Legacy will have a tough test this upcoming week as they take on league rival Rocky Mountain in a big game.
