Nick Kasa has been a busy kid, along with classes and hard core lifting that has seen him gain nearly fifteen pounds since the end of football season, Kasa has been hitting the road. Over spring break, the 6-7 252 pound sack specialist traveled with his father to check out Gainesville and the University of Florida campus. While there, Kasa was able to watch the Gators practice and get a feel for how coach Meyer and his staff do things. The Kasa family was impressed with the campus and Gator football, saying they "really like the school."
The Kasa's will continue their road show in June as they travel back to Florida so Nick can take part in the University of Florida football camp. Nick may leave a day or two early so he can pop down to Miami and check out the Hurricanes. Upon return to Colorado, the Kasa's will again load up on the frequent flyer miles and head out to California to take a look at USC, UCLA and possibly Cal.
Also of late, Notre Dame head man Charlie Weis has been keeping in contact with Kasa to get a gauge in regard to how Nick feels about the Irish. Along with this, Tennessee and Clemson have offered giving Kasa a grand total of nearly twenty offers.
