New Interest for 2015 Tight End
More and more colleges are finding out about Colorado hidden gem Zach Peterson of Prairie View High School. The 2015 prospect combines size, athleticism, intangibles and strong academics into a package that could lead to success at the next level.Peterson reports two new schools, Northern Arizona and the University of Washington are now in contact. These latest inquiries are on top of Ivy interest from Harvard, Princeton and especially Cornell. Peterson, a strong student with a high GPA and strong test scores, will camp at Cornell and Princeton this summer. In state Peterson will hit camp at Colorado State and potentially Colorado and School of Mines. At 6-3 230 pounds and running a 4.7 forty, Peterson has the size and athletic skills to succeed at the next level. Most importantly, Peterson is a very versatile player. A great blocker in the run game, Peterson also has the ability to line up in multiple spots and make plays as a receiver. Last season, Peterson, on limited catches, averaged 18 yards per reception. When given the opportunity, Peterson can gain yards after the catch. Playing on a touring 7on7 squad, Peterson is honing his skills as a receiver in preparation for the next high school season and the college game.Strong performances at college camps this summer are key for Peterson and as teams see, in person, Peterson's diverse skill set. This skill set, along with numerous intangibles, should at some point gain the 2015 student athlete a college offer.
