One of Colorado's most productive players this season, Marquille Jones of Montbello is seeing increasing interest late in this year's recruiting cycle.
The 5-11 165 pound WR/DB had 66 catches this season and seven touchdowns helping his team to a 7-4 record. On defense, Jones had two interceptions and 13 passes defended from his cornerback position. Jones was also a very dangerous return man. Although a very skilled defensive back, Jones says schools are recruiting him to play slot receiver.
DIIs are after Jones who holds offers from Eastern New Mexico as well as Western State. This past weekend Jones made his official to Western.
Jones reports that the University of Wyoming, a program that has recently hit the recruiting trail hard in Colorado, is coming by to visit him this Friday.
Whether it is a DII or a new DI suitor, Jones plans to make his commit as early as this weekend.
