2014 Heritage two way lineman Connor Cain reports the University of Wyoming has made an offer. The 6-4 255 pound defender finished his career with a strong senior season.
Cain's body of work, athleticism and high motor brought offers from multiple FCS programs. In early November Cain made a verbal commit to Eastern Washington.
The Wyoming offer comes as former North Dakota State Head Coach Craig Bohl takes the reins of the Cowboy program. Wyoming assistant coach Pete Kaligis, who was retained by Bohl, made the offer to Cain.
Currently Cain is standing pat on his Eastern Washington verbal, but there is quite a bit of time before LOI day and a DI offer and the chance to play for Bohl, who will coach NDSU through playoffs in an attempt to lead the Bison to their third straight title.
