This past weekend, while visiting Northern Colorado, Regis Jesuit All-State linebacker Quinn VandeKoppel talked about the increasing interest he is gaining from colleges of various levels.
The productive 6-1 220 pound linebacker who has registered over 240 tackles during the past two seasons, says CSU-Pueblo and Drake are on the verge of offering. VandeKoppel also reports the University of Wyoming has started to make contact. Although visiting Northern Colorado, VandeKoppel has yet to gain an offer from the in state FCS program.
A great run stopper who was anchor on a Regis defense that allowed fewer than 13 points a game this season, VandeKoppel has tremendous instincts, getting downhill quickly to make plays as evidenced by his 18 TFLs over the past two seasons. Boasting a 3.58 GPA VandeKoppel will bring strong academics, hard work and on field production to the college program that makes an offer. VandeKoppel could compete at the FCS level and later contribute. For a DII program, VandeKoppel could find himself on the field early in his college career.
