Top players drive their teams to victory as playoffs move on. Updated Sunday night

ThunderRidge picked up its sixth straight win behind QB Brody Westmoreland who accounted for 7 TDs in a 56-35 victory over Doherty High School. In his final game of the season Doherty's Zach Young rushed for 249 yards and three scores putting over the 2,500 yard mark on the season to go with 41 rush TDs. The win sets up a potential rematch between Regis and ThunderRidge. Regis dominated ThunderRidge earlier in the season to give the Grizzlies their only loss. Regis, today, takes on always tough Grandview.

Fairview QB Anders Hill showed his athleticism rushing for 121 yards to go with 243 pass yards in a 45-17 win over Douglas County. On the night Hill accounted for five TDs. The win sets up a rematch with Pomona, a team Fairview defeated 33-30 just a few weeks ago.

QB Aric Johnson's four TD night pushed Cherokee Trail to a 41-7 win over Mountain Range. With the win Cherokee Trail will face rival Cherry Creek next week. Creek dominated Overland last night 49-17 behind a multi-pronged run game that highlighted Milo Hall and Nathan Starks.

Valor quarterback A.J. Cecil was the star last night throwing for 278 yards and four TDs as his Eagles took care of Ralston Valley 49-17. Chipping in was senior star Christian McCaffrey who had four TDs and over 200 yards of offense.

Junior power back Chukwuma Obinnah of Grandview was fired up to play his former team rushing for 220 yards and three scores as his Wolves upset Regis 31-21.

Senior Chris Marquez of Pomona continues his run going over the 230 yard mark for the second week in a row. This week, in a win over Chatfield Marquez had 261 yards and four scores. On the game Marquez compiled 373 total yards. WOW!!

Monarch running back Braden Pape averaged sixteen yards a carry and had three scores as Monarch defeated Vista Ridge 62-28

JoJo Domann of Pine Creek spearheaded a strong defense with two interceptions and a fumble recovered as the Eagles defeated Pueblo West 35-18.

Coronado continued their amazing season with a first round playoff victory over Rifle 34-31. In the win senior RB Austin Micci had 225 rush yards.

Delta sophomore Jonney Pounce had 215 yards in a 42-41 track meet win against Holy Family.
