QB Anders Hill of Fairview

With playoffs about to start in 5A, we can now start the discussion about Player of the Year.

Andrew Wingard of Ralston Valley did it all as his Mustangs took care of Legacy 50-21 Friday night. Wingard had a one yard touchdown run, caught passes of 73 and 56 yards for scores and returned two kicks for scores.

Ben Sjobakken of Silver Creek threw four touchdown passes as Silver Creek defeated Mead 42-13 this weekend.

Alec Wirtjes had two rush TDs and two pass TDs in a 42-0 win over Woodland Park.

In a 52-8 win over Lincoln, Brighton QB Tanner Pepin had three touchdown passes and a touchdown run to go with over 370 yards of combined offense.

Junior Quincy Kindred ran wild over Mesa Ridge with 231 yards and three scores. Kindred now has over 1,600 yards for his 7-2 Pueblo Centennial squad.

Mark Hopper of ThunderRidge averaged 25 yards per reception in a win against Mountain Vista.

Junior QB Tommy Lazzaro of Pine Creek had four scores in a 42-0 victory over Air Academy.

Ethan Marks rushed for 229 yards as Monarch won 48-12 over Broomfield

Anders Hill of Fairview posted 283 passing yards and four touchdowns as his Knights took it to Boulder 69-3.

Kalen Ballage had 197 total yards and two scores as Falcon defeated Liberty 44-3

Zach Young rushed for 286 yards and six scores as Doherty manhandled Palmer 40-0. The big game has Young just under 2,000 rush yards to go with 31 TDs.

Christian McCaffrey had three scores and averaged 24 yards a mtouch as Valor won 56-6 over Rock Canyon.
