2014 Pomona lineman Zach Stefo fits the mold for the Colorado State system.

For the second time this week the Colorado State Rams have landed an in state prospect with major upside. Sunday the Rams secured Loveland athlete John Freismuth a 6-4 WR/CB who has the potential to compete at multiple positions for the Rams. This past weekend Zach Stefo of Pomona High, a 6-6 280 pound
offensive lineman, made the decision to play his college ball at Colorado State.

The 6-6 280 pound Stefo has great size and solid athleticism. While playing guard at Pomona, Stefo has shown the ability to run block at the point of attack, pull
and get to blocks at the next level. Like many high school linemen Stefo will, at
times, play tall but when he gets his hands on a defender he can move the
line. Due to his frame and athletic upside, Stefo could be a potential right tackle for the Rams and has the ability to play multiple positions on the offensive line.

There is little doubt that with hard work in the weight room Stefo could, in a few years, plow Mountain West fields in the 320 pound range. Recommended Stories
