Over the past few seasons few teams in Colorado have had a much success as the Grandview Wolves. Traditionally known for their aggressive defense, the Wolves have also produced solid offensive linemen.
This upcoming season center Gabe Cirivello will anchor a Grandview line and offense that lost multiple players to graduation. At 6-2 261 pounds, Cirivello is the epitome of an interior lineman using strength and leverage to get blocks. Cirivello with not thrill with his athleticism, but he always seems to get to the block and shows the ability to get on backers at the second level. Blocking on the line of scrimmage, Cirivello finishes once he gets his hands on an opponent.
This offseason Cirivello, who does not hold an offer, plans on camping at Colorado, CSU-Pueblo's Big Man Camp, Western and Montana. Cirivello says he has had some communication with Colorado and CSU-Pueblo. Breaking down his own game Cirivello says he, "wants my snaps to be perfect and footwork game to be perfect before season."
As the only offensive returnee Cirivello is comfortable with his leadership role as players such as Tyler Smith at quarterback, Ben Marshall at running back and Morgan Smith at tight end get comfortable in their roles.
