Arvada Athlete Gets First Offer

2014 Arvada West athlete Marcus Culhane picks up first of what could be many more offers.

With strong Colorado ties, the Indiana State Sycamores continue their trend of hitting Colorado for talent. PrepColorado has learned that Arvada West athlete Marcus Culhane has received an offer to play for the FCS program.

Last season, the 6-3 185 pound Culhane did it all for his Arvada West squad playing quarterback, receiver, defensive back and returning kicks. At the next level Culhane projects as a receiver or safety. Last season, at his safety position, Culhane registered 55 tackles to go with four interceptions earning All-Conference honors. As a safety Culhane is physical and looks capable of playing in the box. In coverage, Culhane's length and deceptive speed are a bonus.

Along with the Indiana Stat offer Culhane has also received invites to junior days at Cal and Michigan. Boasting great size, good speed and versatile athleticism it will not be long before Culhane adds to his offer sheet.
