Wiggins offensive lineman Dalton Risner is a small school player that is gaining major college attention. The 6-4 285 pound Risner reports Wyoming, Colorado State, Stanford, Boise State, Tulsa and Oregon are all showing interest. This offseason Risner hopes to attend camps at Stanford, Tulsa and Oregon.
Most likely an interior lineman at the next level, Risner is aware of areas in his game that need improvement stating, "I'm trying to improve on my speed and technique. My footwork is good but not great." Focused on improvement, Risner is working with former Bronco Matt McChesney. Risner will also put his game on display at the Nike and UnderArmour combines this spring.
Risner has yet to gain a first offer, but Stanford has visited Wiggins and Oregon and Tulsa may make visits as well. Last month Risner visited Fort Collins for Colorado State junior day stating, "It was a great experience! I loved the environment." Risner has also been invited to junior days at Tulsa, Wyoming, Stanford and Oregon.
