As playoffs hit full tilt many big games help teams move to the next round.

Brody Westmoreland of ThunderRidge is a leader and makes plays as needed. Friday, in the 57-56 two OT thriller, Westmoreland posted over 200 yards of offense and scored four times in this game where every score counted. Westmoreland's opposite number Luke Papillion scored five times to make the game one of 2012's best.

Grandview QB Reece Weber scored three times and put up 136 rush yards as Grandview handled Fountain-Fort Carson 48-14. For good measure, Weber added over 100 pass yards.

Speedster Brandon Cartagena scored five times as his Vista Ridge team moves to round two of the 4A playoffs with a 41-7 win against Canon City.

Pueblo West 35 Loveland 10. Derek Jackson 305 rush yards. Fourth game in a row with 300 yards. Nuff said!

QB Joe Sanger of Windsor had a steady 137 rush yards as the Wizards bested Broomfield Saturday 22-12

Senior Pete Williams of Denver South rushed for 219 yards and three scores as Denver South bested Standley Lake26-21.

Davion Amos-White put up 200 rush yards and scored three times a Wheat Ridge pounded Cheyenne Mountain 46-17.

Ryan Moeller ran for 262 yards and four scores as Rifle blanked Erie 42-0 in the first round of 3A playoffs.

Pueblo East RB Dereon Ibarra rushed for 267 yards as East knocked Holy Family from the 3A playoffs 49-28.

Cole Nielsen of Eagle Valley had 211 yards as his Eagle Valley squad upset Frederick 33-8.

Silver Creek QB Ben Sjobakken was frighteningly efficient going 14-18 with three TD passes as the Raptors defeated Elizabeth 33-14.

Sophomore Jaden Franklin of Kent Denver needed every one of his 219 yards and three scores to get his squad past Brush High School 35-27 in the second round of 2A playoffs. Recommended Stories
