Phenoms Week 11

With playoffs underway in some divisions and regular season finales in others week 11 was once again interesting.

Two of Colorado's best junior backs, Columbine's Bernard McDondle and Grand Junction's Austin Lewis, dueled Friday as Columbine won the first round playoff game 37-20. McDondle, per his m.o., hit on multiple long runs, eventually scoring three times and rushing for 204 yards. Lewis, behind a big offensive line, bullied Columbine for 220 yards.

Dustin Rivas of Horizon hand three scores in a 47-24 win over Rangeview. In his typical versatile fashion, Rivas had two touchdown receptions and a pick six.

Luke Del Rio threw four touchdown passes in a 52-6 dismantling of Legacy. Christian McCaffrey caught two of the touchdown passes and ran in two others.

Tahj Willingham scored four touchdowns in Cherry Creek's 49-21 win over Brighton.

Grandview QB Reece Weber rushed 11 times for 192 yards in a 40-6 win against Fairview.

Ryan McMahon of Cheyenne Mountain scored four rushing touchdowns in a 62-27 rout of Pueblo South.

Derek Jackson again topped the 300 yards mark for the fourth time this season and the third time in a row as his Pueblo West squad handled Mesa Ridge 44-20.

Chaparral QB Max Kuhns put up 305 passing yards and threw four touchdowns in a win over Rock Canyon.

Jose Cancanon of Arapahoe scored five times and rushed for over 230 yards as his Warriors defeated Heritage 42-7.
