Last season, Justin Smith averaged nearly 13 points a game and brought down over five rebounds per contest while helping his Lewis-Palmer squad bring home a state title. This year, Smith along with Jordin Scott will work to again have Lewis-Palmer in contention for a title. Smith's game and profile has attracted significant college attention and in the next two weeks Smith will make a decision regarding his college basketball future.
This weekend Smith will travel to California to visit Sacramento State. This weekend's trip follows a trip last week to Idaho State. Smith is currently in the process of narrowing his decision down between the two big sky schools. Smith's club coach David Mathews of the Colorado Chaos reports Smith will make his final decision sometime next week.
Whatever the decision, Smith, a 6-6 wing with tremendous versatility, brings a skill set that should transfer easily to the college game.
