2014 receiver Sam Martin is having a huge season in Boulder Fairview's pass first offense.

If the season ended today 2014 Boulder Fairview receiver Sam Martin would have numbers to warrant an All-State selection. 52 receptions and nine TD catches make a very strong season and with a least three games remaining Martin is in a position to post even bigger numbers this season.

Standing 6-3 and weighing 180 pounds, Martin has the size that DI schools crave. Further, Martin self reports a 4.4 forty yard dash. Beyond his impressive physical attributes Martin is a hands catcher who keeps the ball off his body showing soft touch with catches. Also, Martin looks equally comfortable working downfield as a big play receiver or working across the middle in traffic or as part of the screen game. Due to his size, Martin is especially effective in the redzone, able to play jump ball and make plays.

Martin is and will gain DI attention due to his skill set of size, speed and production. Living in Boulder and being the son of a Colorado alum and letter winner Martin has a strong pro Buff bias. As his numbers continue to grow in a Fairview offense committed to the pass this season, Martin will see colleges from outside the state of Colorado showing interest.
