Thursday night, in a 31-3 win over #2 ranked Palisade, senior Rifle running back Ryan Moeller continued his assault on the record book posting 267 rush yards for his #1 squad. Having already rushed for over 1,500 yards, Moeller is on pace to post 3,000 rush yards and potentially score 40 or more times. These gaudy numbers are on top of the nearly 2,500 yards he posted last season.
Standing 6-2 and weighing right at 190, Moeller has the size and skill set to play multiple positions at the college level. Running a 4.6, Moeller has good speed to go with great athleticism, explosion and change of pace.
Moeller says he has been in contact with Colorado, Colorado State, Wyoming and Mesa State. Personally, he has reached out to San Diego State and Florida State. Gifted with a versatile skill set that could allow him to play defensive back or wide receiver in college, Moeller says he, "likes offense, but is willing to play where needed."
Right now, where needed is running back as he continues his assault on the Rifle and potentially Colorado High School record book, in an attempt to bring home a 3A tile for his Bears.
