Nearly a month into the season and the teams and performers are full tilt.

Boulder Fairview QB Johnny Feauto is a regular in the Phenoms, thus far posting monster numbers for 2012. This week, Feauto threw for 430 yards and five scores in a 45-26 win over Rangeview. Senior Cole Scheifele was a primary recipient of Feauto's throws with 12 catches in the win.

Another sophomore putting his imprint on the season is Kent Denver's Jaden Franklin. On the season, Franklin is rushing, on average, 225 yards a game. This week, in a win over Faith Christian, Franklin rushed for 257 yards and three scores.

Junior Jose Cancannon of Arapahoe scored for times and rushed for 197 yards as the Warriors defeated Fort Collins 38-10.

A senior posting monster rush numbers in Patrick Wilson of West minster. Friday Wilson went over 250 rush yards in a 38-30 win over Longmont. For the season Wilson has rushed for 711 total yards. Potentially more impressive than the yards were the 40 carries Wilson compiled in the win.

No review of rushers for the 2012 season is complete without an update of Rifle's Ryan Moeller. The senior is just shy of 1,000 yards and has scored 13 times in three games. Friday, in a 28-0 win against Glenwood Springs, Moeller scored three times and rushed for 326 yards.

Highlands Ranch picked up its first win a junior QB Keaton Thames threw three touchdown passes beating Fossil Ridge 19-13.

Potentially the most important performance of the week came from ThuderRidge running back Jake Hand who scored on three runs and a pass reception as his Grizzlies defeated Grandview 34-20.

Tight end Mitch Parsons of Chaparral continues his dominance having already compiled 19 catches for the season. This past weekend in a win over Legacy Parsons had nine catches for 114 yards. So far, for the unbeaten Wolverines, Parsons is averaging over 18 yards per reception.

Senior Dustin Rivas of Horizon could well be the best two way player in the state. Over the past two games, Rivas has made 16 catches while averaging nearly 29 yards per reception. This week, in a win over Northglenn, Rivas had three scores . On the defensive side of the ball Rivas has already grabbed three INTS on the season.

They have all kinds of games in Pueblo, bells, cannons and the like, and in the Cannon game, Pueblo East defeated Pueblo South 23-20 for its first win in 15 years. In the win QB Kurt Rode had 256 pass yards. Recommended Stories
