The past few years have not been stellar for Northglenn football in Windsor, Colorado, but events may be looking up as talented players take the field for the Norse. Last season Northglenn posted and 7-4 season and won a first round playoff game.
One player who helped in the Northglenn resurgence is 2013 defensive end Alex Garcia. The 6-4 240 pound Garcia logged a solid junior season that saw him register over forty tackles. Most impressive regarding Garcia is his frame, one that looks capable of supporting more than his current 240 pounds. Thus far this offseason Garcia has hit the weights hard and will most likely begin next season in the 250 pound range. Along with what is very good size, Garcia has solid speed for a big kid, self reporting a 4.9 forty yard dash.
In an attempt to improve his game Garcia will attend the Colorado Big Man Camp and the team camp at Mesa State.
