Aurora SG Gaining National Attention

A great junior campaign coupled with a very strong offseason has seen multiple offers come to Aurora Central's Carlton Hurst.

2013 shooting guard Carlton Hurst of Aurora Central High School continues to see his recruiting pick up. Currently the 6-3 shooting guard holds offers from Colorado State, Wyoming, New Mexico and Buffalo. Hurst, who averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds this past season for Aurora Central, is also receiving attention from Nebraska, Wichita State, Pepperdine, St. Mary's, Nevada and Northern Colorado.

This offseason, Hurst is adding to his already impressive profile with strong showing with his Colorado Chaos club squad. Hurst helped the Chaos win a title at the Pangos Spring Spectacular in Las Vegas two weeks ago. Last weekend Hurst put together a strong performance in the Best Buy Mile High Classic in Denver. In both events Hurst made All-Tournament scoring over 26 points a game and grabbing nine boards.

Continued performances of this caliber should only bring more offers to the multi-dimensional guard who can score, rebound, defend and distribute. Recommended Stories
