Rams gain verbal from Bear Creek lineman Jake Bennett.

This weekend the Colorado State Rams gained dividends from their aggressive pursuit of Colorado’s best players as Bear Creek lineman Jake Bennett verbally committed to the Rams.

Bennett, an All-State performer, is a talented interior lineman who will eventually help bring a physical presence to the Colorado State run game.

Bennett, along with Austin Berk, have made verbals to CSU, while linemen Blake Nowland and Dalton Fields hold CSU offers.

Early in the recruiting season it looks as if Colorado schools will hang on to many of the state’s best. Recently the University of Colorado secured verbal commits from Chaparral tight end Mitch Parsons and Denver South athlete Phillip Lindsay.
