The Regis Raiders are having a strong 2010 campaign going undefeated in the regular season and gaining the #2 seed in the upcoming 5A playoffs. One of the key components of this year's success is the play of senior wideout Casey Young. So far this season Young has made 39 catches and brought in five TDs while averaging over 14 yards a catch. Over the past two years the 6-2 190 pound receiver has brought in 76 total catches.
The numbers, as well as Young's upside, attracted the attention of multiple college programs. This past weekend, after visiting the University of North Dakota, the Denver Post is reporting Young made his college choice to join the Fighting Sioux.
At 6-2 Young is a big receiver who brings speed to the field. Last year Young was the state champ in the 110 meter hurdles.
